Âé¶¹Çø Members may restrict the publication of their personal information in the Âé¶¹Çø Portal by submitting an email request to Âé¶¹Çø (aamd@medicaldosimetry.org) or by managing their online profile settings under “Edit Bio.”
The Âé¶¹Çø website contains links to other websites. Âé¶¹Çø has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content, accuracy, or security of these websites. You should review the privacy policy posted on any site you visit before using the site or providing any personal data about yourself.
Most data Âé¶¹Çø collects is used only to help us better serve our members. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. If our privacy policies change, we will notify all users by e-mail or a special announcement placed on the website.
When creating an online Âé¶¹Çø Profile (member or non-member record), individuals must agree to the following: I certify that I am a medical dosimetry or radiation oncology professional and hereby certify that the statements contained herein are correct. I agree to abide by the Âé¶¹Çø bylaws and Code of Ethics. I understand that I will receive general email communications from Âé¶¹Çø, including sponsored content, unless I submit an email request to aamd@medicaldosimetry.org to be opted out of Âé¶¹Çø email correspondence.
From General Users
Âé¶¹Çø does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Only aggregate data — such as the number of hits per page — are collected. Aggregate data is only used for internal and marketing purposes and does not provide any personally identifying information.
From Âé¶¹Çø's Members, Conference Registrants, and Other Customers
To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on , members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited information. This information is submitted voluntarily. Âé¶¹Çø asks users to provide their name, member number (for members), organization name, mobile phone number, and e-mail. Similar information may be submitted to Âé¶¹Çø through membership applications, conference registration, publication orders, and certification material.

When creating an Âé¶¹Çø profile, individuals must agree to the Member Terms of Use Agreement. If you would like to OPT OUT of receiving Âé¶¹Çø emails, please email aamd@medicaldosimetry.org. Once received, you will be contacted by Âé¶¹Çø staff who will confirm when your request has been fulfilled (within 1-2 business days).
SMS Texting
Âé¶¹Çø will limit the usage of SMS texting to important membership and event deadlines, and other news deemed relevant by Âé¶¹Çø Staff and/or Board of Directors. Frequency varies and message/data rates may apply.

Disclosures to Third Parties
Âé¶¹Çø also makes member contact information available through the Âé¶¹Çø Membership Directory to other members. Additionally, attendee contact information may be made available in the Meeting App to those who register for Âé¶¹Çø meetings. On occasion, Âé¶¹Çø may also provide limited data to Exhibitors/Sponsors that offer products and services. These limited data may include names, job titles, companies, business addresses, and email. Users may request Âé¶¹Çø refrain from disclosing the data it collects to third parties during meeting registration, or by updating their profile preferences within the Âé¶¹Çø portal. Alternatively, users may contact Âé¶¹Çø at aamd@medicaldosimetry.org to express their preferences if they determine later that they do not wish to have the information shared.
Consent to Use Personal Information
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act(s) 1984 and 1998 (as applicable), Âé¶¹Çø or its agents must store, host, and otherwise process the information (including personal data) supplied by the User when registering for this website. Users, as defined above, supply information when registering for the website to allow Âé¶¹Çø (or its designated agents) to use the information to send the User unsolicited direct mail advertisements, promotions, and solicitations for third parties' products and services. Âé¶¹Çø may send such data outside the European Economic Area for processing. If you reside in the European Union, please indicate your consent that the personal information you have provided may be transferred and stored in countries outside of the EU, including the United States.
Credit Card Account Information
Âé¶¹Çø does not disclose credit card account information provided by its members and customers. When members and customers choose to pay using their credit cards, Âé¶¹Çø submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse. Âé¶¹Çø does not store credit card information for its members and customers.
Cookies are files that contain information created by a web server that can be stored on a User's device for use either during a particular session ("per-session" cookie) or for future use ("persistent" cookie). Âé¶¹Çø uses "per-session" cookies to facilitate automated activity, maintain logins, determine appropriate solicitations, and review navigation patterns. Cookies are not used to disseminate significant information about Users over the Internet or to analyze any information that Users have knowingly or unknowingly provided. Users may instruct their Internet browsers to opt out of accepting cookies, but if the user declines the attachment of any cookie, the user may not have access to the full benefits of the website.

Âé¶¹Çø may occasionally sell postal mailing lists to nonprofit and for-profit organizations who offer products and services within the radiation oncology space. Âé¶¹Çø limits use of the list to one time per request and requires that the list be destroyed after its specified use. Âé¶¹Çø Members may request to be excluded from commercial postal mailings by request to Âé¶¹Çø.
Âé¶¹Çø periodically cooperates with partner organizations through an exchange of member information. This exchange is approved by the Âé¶¹Çø leadership and is conducted with groups that have an interest in serving Âé¶¹Çø Members and will not be used for commercial purposes. Âé¶¹Çø Members may request to be excluded from an information exchange by request to Âé¶¹Çø.
Âé¶¹Çø reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy at any time. If Âé¶¹Çø makes a material change to its policy, Âé¶¹Çø will post a notice of the change on this page.
